

Free Wheelin.It was a beautiful sunny day around mid July of a summer long past. He opened his eyes to see a chirping sparrow serenading him from the broad tree that stood in the backyard of the loving little house that had always been his home. He sat up with a couple of yawns and a nice long stretch in anticipation of the day ahead. Not that there as anything Special about this day in particular other then the fact he was six years old and it was summer. The boy lazily pushed aside the curtain that served as his bedroom door and strode across the hallway. Without knocking, for he never did and likely wouldn’t for a few more years, he entered his pFree Wheelin.


Closure.Walking down the street, my shoes hitting the hard pavement, kicking loose pebbles i wander. Heading nowhere in particular, letting the brillant warmth of the sun entomb me. its warm..a seemingly beautiful day, i raise my arm and inhale without a care in the world. Eyes straight ahead something familiar catches my eye exhaling gently, i see her.Closure.
She gently brushes the bright hair out of her face, pink go figure those lips...that smile those eyes... her gaze It's been over a year now but i remember them like it was yesterday.
Suddenly that gaze is upon me, shes seen me.

Hear a tune beneath confusion, make sense of something wrong,
Believe in truth as strong as lies, you shall remain alone,

And never can you steal that, for my voice is all my own.
